About Axis Sport Tuning

Axis started as a retail store in Anaheim, California, in the heart of the Sport Compact Car custom scene. The year was 1997. We started with 3 employees and a shop of 2500 square feet selling wheels, tires, exhaust and lowering springs. The team were made up with car enthusiast attending car show and motorsport events in the Southern California area. After about a year a half, Axis relocated to another larger location in Fountain Valley, CA. Today Axis Sport Tuning is in a 20,000 square foot building located in Santa Fe Springs, CA.

Current Car: Ferrari, Dream Car: Ferrari

He started Axis Sport Tuning in 1997. An enthusiast all his life, today James enjoys running the company that he started as well as going to automobile events on the weekend, including taking his cars out on the race track - James is known for his yellow cars (as if you haven't already noticed!).

Current Car: G35 Coupe, Dream Car: Jaguar XJ-S

Roz was one of the first full time employees at Axis, she joined Axis in 1998 and is responsible for the Payables and Receivables. She drives a G35 Coupe with 20 inch VIPs. In her free time, Roz enjoys spending time with all of her family members.

Current Car: 2008 Scion XB, Dream Car: Corvette Z06

Darren has been in the wheel industry for 15 years. He brings to Axis a broad knowledge of fitments and experience. He regularly beats everyone at Axis with his Golf game, enjoys fishing, loves spending time with his son, plays tournament poker when he gets a chance and enjoys the single life.

Current Car: 2006 BMW 325i, Dream Car: Porsche GT3 RS

He recently moved to LA from Miami, Eric is a champion go kart racer where he races other 12 year olds in the 98 pound class. Now living in Manhattan Beach, Eric will figure out the big difference between the waves in Florida and the waves in SoCal - SoCal actually has surf that gets over ankle high. We hope his mom will send along his floaties...

Current Car: 2007 BMW 328i, Dream Car: Mitsubishi Evo

Previously employed here 2 years ago, Lorenzo jumped the fence and took a two year hiatus after someone yelled "La Migra!!!" when the ice cream truck pulled up to the back of the warehouse. Glad to have him back, we are not going to allow the ice cream truck to enter our parking lot again. Lorenzo's hobby is to do James Chen impersonations when being photographed.

Current Car: Audi A4, Dream Car: '64 Impala on Triple Gold 13" Daytons

Richard comes to us from another major wheel manufacturer, and brings along 8 years of experience. He also has a good eye for wheel design, fitments and knowledge of the best taco trucks in our area. Richard likes to ride his Side by Side when not watching Dodger games or wet t-shirt contests in Havasu.

Current Car: Oscar Meyer Mobile

Gene brings a wealth of knowledge to the Axis team, from photography to SEMA car build ups. With his good styling of cars to his love of cinna-pies, Axis welcomes their newest member from Dutch Land. Rumor has it he doesn't have the word "can't" in his vocabulary.

Del Cid came to Axis from a major wheel manufacturer with years of experience in warehouse management. He brings a wealth of knowledge in the warehouse to make things run smoothly. After work he doubles as a DJ bumping Vicente Fernandez.

Current Car: Geo Metro

When newton is not in the front of Grauman's Chinese Theater doubling as Daddy Yankee, he is handling will calls and packing up wheels and tires. After work he is pumping that "GASOLINA".
